People of this world

Hi all,
the different people is showed by the different colors of the head-wood itself. The wood is also from the showed region. P.e. black is African blackwood, yellow is mulberry etc. What's the difference between the people ? I think only the color.
H=24cm, body from walnut.
Jo, this work is fantastic! Can you tell us more about the process; are the individual bases turned on multiple axes before carving the feet? I love the concept, and agree completely!
