4" wide x 4" tall cherry form that has been textured inside and out with a Powercrafter, the grid burned with a pyrography pen and then the whole thing colored with Prismacolor markers. Truly, an exercise in patience....
An amazing piece with the look of embossed leather... fine corinthian leather. I cannot imagine the hours invested in this piece. A beautiful object...
I like this piece. I keep having to look at it every time.
Very nice shape and outstanding texture.
It gets my vote for picture of the day!
I'm curious, did you sand it after texturing? The texture flows so smoothly. And another question, could you get the same type of texture with a Foredom tool?
Thanks, Brian. The only thing I did after texturing was to give it a gentle rub with a white scotch brite pad just to remove any little fuzz that was left. I would imagine you could achieve something close with the Foredom, but I don't have one, so I'm not sure.
