pierced vessel

my first attempt at piercing and gold leaf. turned from bass wood and dyed with india ink. 5'' dia. x 7 3/4'' tall. 11 3/4'' tall with finial. All comments glady welcomed.
Hi Larry I find this very intriguing great concept have you thought of engraving some detail on the butterflies
