Pin Stripes n' Black Hat

I was able to get the grain orientation like I wanted on this piece of maple, and wanted to break the rules of form by combining curves, sharp angles and a foot!

Combining angles with curves sometimes adds visual interest to the usual "round & brown." This hollow Form stands about 7.75 inches high with the finial and is 4.75 inches wide at the shoulder.
