Pine segmented vessel

I just go a new Makita sliding miter saw and was cutting segments to see how accurate it is. It does 12 sided segments quite well as you can see. I had just a few rings out of 14 that had to be glued up in halves. I think a better blade will solve that problem. This is pine 1x2's from the box store. It's about 10" tall.
Great form, juxtaposed with the linearity of the pine 'bricks'. Quite a nice piece. Well done indeed.
