Rocking Form in Red

Maple, dyed, satin laquered, burned rim.
Approx. 1515 cm, wall thickness 2 mm
No light inside.

It was so much fun applying the dye as some light seemed to pop out.

Sorry this is a little late but I have to say BEAUTIFUL! I just love the colors in this piece, they just seem to pop out but yet flow into each other like a beautiful sunset. Yet the veins brings thoughts of dancing fire. I love it!
