Rude Style Candlesticks

Rude Style Candlesticks

Mother-in-Law kept hinting, actually a little more than hinting about making her some candlesticks, l
could not think of a design that would suit her until l went to the Southern Sates Symposium a few weeks ago and watched Robert Rosand turn a Rude Osolnik style candlestick and the penny dropped.

I made these from Pear including the candles, bleached and finished with an acrylic spray then buffed, the tallest being 12 plus a 10 candle. The
wicks are made from string and glued in the tops.
Now the only trouble is her daughter wants a set.....
Thank you all for taking the time to view and add your comments.
These are a fun and rewarding item to make and good practice for the challenge of getting those flowing lines to make it pleasing to the eye.
