Spalted Box Elder Burl Bowl

I found this stunning piece of box elder burl and decided to make a simple bowl and let the wood explode! This figuring is really remarkable! Size is 6 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall. Finished with oil and buffed.

Nice little bowl. Great figure & color. Don't be too disappointed when the color fades ... try to keep it out of the sunlight if possible - that should slow the inevitable fading for a little while.
