Spalted Maple Burl

This is the first turning I've finished since moving to New Mexico and buying the Nichols Lathe advertised on this site. There is a small flea market up here in the hills where I bought the burl. The gent who sold it to me thought it would be neat to leave some of the spikes, so I did and will give it back to him. Form is 11"x5.5" and is finished with Dr Workshop Walnut Oil.

Thanks for looking!
