Spalted maple

Spalted maple

8.25 by 4.25, This is one of several bowls that I green turned at Trent Bosh's studio and then brought home and let sit for a year. Thanks Trent.
So how thin are the walls. I love the color and form although I'm more into wider bases. But this one is nice

The walls on this spalted maple bowl are about 1/16". Although it has a great spalted pattern, the wood is solid and will make someone a really nice small salad bowl. If you ever want to see a more detailed photo of any of my work, I can e-mail you a larger photo file. Greg Thomas
