Spalted pecan vessel

Spalted pecan vessel

Turned from a spalted pecan branch. Sealed a few cracks with CA before turning but looks like the cracks all turned off. Sanded to 320, a couple of coats to Teak Oil followed by two coats of lacquer spray and Yorkshire grit.
Nice piece. I recently picked up a few good sized pecan logs. Stored out back hoping they spalt as well as yours did.
