Spalted Red Maple

Spalted Red Maple

'Twas a large piece of red maple that I just barely saved from rotting away. It is about 17 inches deep, and 10 inches in diameter. Lots of "negative spaces" and interesting figuring from the advanced spalting process. I singed the rim with a butane torch. Best wishes to all!
