150 dia figured maple . The grain didn't come out until I stained with Ngr Stain and laqured
I have been pulling out some treasured pieces of wood lately and having practice with form I think this works what do you think

I do like the shape--reminds of one I just did in box elder. I kept that top because the red streak didn't go very deep.
