Trefoil Waves

The second piece in a collaboration with Andy DiPietro. This one was done in ash from my property. It happened to have some magnificent curl that Andy took full advantage of with his sand texturing and dye.

Trefoil form- Figured Ash, sandtextured, dyed blue on black finish, 6 H x 7.5D

Stand- Maple, USMC black leather dye, 7.125H x 4D

Magnificent piece. The collaboration is a definite success. I'd love to be a fly on the wall at both your shops to see how you do these magical techniques.
