Walnut bowl
Richard Avram

Walnut bowl

Just a very simple walnut bowl about 7.5" dia. The grain was so pretty that I decided to keep it simple and let the wood do the talking. It has a wipe on poly finish then waxed and buffed.
Very nice. As one art professor told me "A good artist knows when to quit."

Richard-

Beautiful piece of Walnut crotch. It would have been better to shoot the picture on a netural background such as grey instead on the table cloth. Your eye goes to the cloth instead of the bowl.
