Walnut textured bowl

This is a walnut bowl I added some texture and color to. Some bark was left on also. Being color blind, I still don't know what the color is (the textured section). The bottle was in German and I thought is was brown. A neighbor said it wasn't, but couldn't really name it. Any idea? It's 12" dia. and finished with tung oil. Thanks for looking!
