Cherry Wand
Cherry Sapwood 12 3/16 x 11/16 dia (1/4 at tip)
Lacquer Finish

This was the third wand of three. My son wanted to turn one for a friend who is a big Harry Potter fan. So I showed him the basics and turned him loose. Once it got quite thin, I had to take over for him. It took two of us to keep it steady enough to turn without a lot of chatter. I thought it turned out well.
You guys turning the wands gotta find a way of inserting phoenix feathers, pulverized dragon teeth and that sort of thing. But it's really nice. I like it.
