Winged Cherry Bowl

Winged Cherry Bowl

This winged Cherry bowl is made from a crotch piece of wood and was once turned. It is about 9 ½” x 2 ½” and finished with Danish oil. I was looking for a stand to take a picture of the “Strange Burl” piece and this was using one that would work. I’m not sure why I never got around to taking a picture of it. Maybe I was waiting to sign it and my wife found a place to display it first. It is in the sunroom and has quickly developed a nice patina and probably looks better now than when first turned.
