Winged lidded box

Winged lidded box

I turned this from a piece of maple scrap about 2 1/8" X 1 1/8" X7". The lid is spalted dogwood with a cherry finial dyed with india ink.

All comments welcome.
Mike: Good job on the winged box and the photo. Is the design on the wings done with the woodburning tool? Looking forward to the demo next week.
