Wu - Englightenment

Approximately 17.5 x 5.75 inches. Eucalyptus often has cracks and other "imperfections" but I find that they can usually be incorporated into the design. In general, my work is influenced by Zen aesthetic principles - austerity, simplicity, naturalness, mystery, asymmetry, disruption and tranquility. Celebrating the "marks of nature" and incorporating them into the design is definitely part of that tradition.
