ash

This is an ash hollow form measuring 8 3/4 inches tall by 9 inches in diameter (ratio = 0.97). ie somewhat taller than ash pots of similar shape which I have previously posted. Antique Oil finish.

An ash hollow form measuring 8 5/8 inches in diameter by 6 inches tall. Similar in shape to a previous post "Ash Vessel" The previous post had a Height to Diameter ratio of 0.85 while this is 0.70 ie this one is a little more on the "squat side". Antique Oil finsh.

This is an ash hollow form vessel that is approximately 9 inches in diameter. It is finished with Antique Oil.

This Ash Bowl measures 9 inches by 3 inches tall.

This is an ash bowl 10 1/4 inches by 2 3/4 inches by 3/8 inches. There is no foot and a concave bottom.

Ash hollow form approximatley 8 inches tall. Finished with Antique Oil.

An ash bowl approximately 10 1/2 inches in diameter.

This was turned from some ash that I recently acquired. It is approximately 12 1/2 inches tall and is finished with multiple coats of Antique Oil.

4" x 4"; black areas textured with pyrography pen - rim and base also textured but with different texture from that within the pattern

Ash with a little figure, topped with a walnut finial. It's about 2 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" tall.

Another mosaic piece - the grid and texturing is done with a pyrography pen and the piece is then colored with Prismacolor markers - it's about 3" x 3"

Texturing is burned in with a pyrography pen and the piece is then colored with Prismacolor markers. Approx. size is 4" x 4".

This is a wide shallow bowl of Black Ash. The bowl is turned thin with a wide, slopeing in rim.

Finished with Tung oil
