    Turning the oval bowl on a VOD is tricky and I was having trouble getting the bottom oval to be exactly in line with the top oval.     There was a hole in this piece of maple, since I was practicing turning oval i did not care until it turned out somewhat ok. I added the handle to make it a serving tray also turned oval
