1933 Granadillo, Macacauba

Profile view, finished 2/20/2022, Granadillo aka: Macacauba, 7 5/8" x 2 7/8", 1lb 2.3oz. Original block was 22% MC, and after roughing and anchorseal, it took a total of 16 months to stabilize, ready for 2nd turn. Sanded to 600gt, Danish Oil Natural, Beall 3-step buff. This piece was dense and hard, but with all the components necessary for a clean cut in tune with the tool work, I was able eliminate any power sanding and begin hand sanding under power at either 180 or 240....(can't remember which at the moment.) Total of 19 detail grooves...
