1987 curly fiddleback maple.

Original turning block was 18% MC, and after roughing to general shape, it took 10 months to stabilize. 8 9/16" x 2 1/2",10.1 oz, sanded to 600gt, Danish oil natural, Beall 3-step buff. Undercut rim.

Beautifully turned as always. You do have a knack for finding really gorgeous turning blanks!
 
Lovely Odie! You seem to have a “signature” style of delicate incised lines that give an understated accent to the rims of your exquisitely finished pieces. Quite striking.
