AAW January 2010 Contest

This bowl (side view) is a small part of a few large bark slabs that were laying in the mud at a local backwoods saw mill waiting for the fire pile. This is what was underneath. I love those guys! It's spalted and figured maple, 13" dia.X 4" tall. The bottom is raised just a tad so the bowl doesn't sit flat. Finished with Tung Oil and Renaissance wax. Thanks for looking and all comments welcome, Don L.
very nice
