African Sumac Bowl

African Sumac Bowl

I was given this African Sumac blank by Sean Troy when I was visiting the kids in Phoenix a few years ago. I finally decided to see what was in it. Being from the desert it had a lot of splits to fill but I think it worked out rather well. I do like the color. I had never turned Sumac before, what a treat! 8.5x4.25. Oil finish and buffed. Comments welcome.
