Bowl in Banksia - 5" dia

Just experimenting with lighting in my photos. This one turned out quite dramatic. 5" Bowl in banksia - bees wax finish.
I will disagree with Bill. We as woodturners want to see the work - all of it! This type of photo might be fine for another medium in a magazine - but not for a woodturning forum. YMMV. ;)
 
Thanks Tom I appreciate your comment and respect that view point. But I'd like to counter with the premise that it's not always about ogling the entire work. Sometimes it's a good option to highlight some of the features of a piece - in this case the form of the bowl and the medullary rays of the banksia timber in the base. As you say ymmv.
