brick lamp

this is the latest in my experiments to make bricks and concrete. Wood was box elder and pine. Don't worry the box elder had almost no color.
The bricks were made by dyeing red and then cutting grooves with a custom made parting tool and then a dremel. The mortar was drywall mud rubbed into the grooves.
The concrete is done by coating the wood with Krylon Stone Flek and then spraying it black and then lightly hitting it with white to create the gray look.
