Cedar Twist Vase

This 9 inch tall vase was turned off-center to provide the twist. The top edges were carved to suggest organic shapes and to complement the grain patterns. Cedar is a soft wood and not my favorite one to turn but I am always surprised by the variety of grain patterns and colors contained 'within'. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system.
