Made from Cherry and Masir Birch. Total diameter is 8.5". 12 turnings in all. Bowl and finials are Masir Birch. Legs, lid and octogen top surface are Cherry.

Wow, looks like a lot of work. The wood in the bowl itself (burl of some sort it appears) is really exceptional. A very nice piece!
