Claro Walnut Burl Vase

This is a small vase that I turned out a small piece of claro walnut burl. Finished with two coats of Danish oil.
It measures approximately 3” at its widest point and roughly 6-8” of height, depending on where you measure. I had quite a dilemma while making it to make sure the proportions felt right. Eventually, I ended up aiming for making the lowest part of the rim as the “target” proportionally.
(I’d gladly welcome some feedback on how some of you would approach the proportions on a piece like this.)
