Round bottom

Here you can appreciate the round bottom of a traditional Hawaiian Calabash. I do it the traditional way# no dimples or any flat surface at all.
This is a wonderful bowl with an extremely attractive shape. Thank you for showing the round bottom so clearly, Emiliano. Does this piece include the pith or are there 'knots' from branches showing?

I include the pith in a lot of my turnings, in the hope that they will crack a little and need a few pewa. Sometimes the bowl does not cooperate and doesn't crack... Adding pewa adds value to my turnings. Thank you for taking the time to comment. Aloha
