Vase with Leaves

This 10-inch tall vase was turned from birch off-center to create the top and bottom twists. The upper section was shaped, carved and embellished to give it the look of leaves. Some color was added to the vase rim and base to complement the green leaves. A light stain was applied to the birch to add color to a nearly white wood.
