Mesquite Vase

From a limb in a batch of mesquite I got while visiting family in south TX. It had a deep valley inclusion that ran the length of the limb. I had to reposition it quite a few times to end up with a solid neck opening and base but, I try to get something out of every piece and scrap I get of mesquite. 10 1/2" x 4 1/2"
I really enjoy it on these pieces. Each one is a unique challenge and puzzle to find a way to get something out of it. At markets they get a lot of attention. Very different than anything else on the table. When someone picks it up and decides they want it they won't put it down.
