Emerald City 1

This is the first piece I completed piece for a auction on May 28 at Dunn Gardens in Seattle. It is made from a piece of a sugar maple that once grew in the Dunn Gardens park. This pierced vessel is 5 inches high by 3 inches diameter and named "Emerald City" for the city of Seattle. The auction is to benefit Dunn Gardens Historic Trust as well as the Seattle Woodturners group which I belong to.
