First gnome

This is the first gnome I turned. The body and hat are a single piece made from 3"x3" poplar from a box store. The nose and the pompom I turned from the scraps of a cherry tree my father-in-law cut down. If you look at the pompom carefully, you'll see a smiley face. That's completely natural, not drawn on or anything. Seemed appropriate as a gift for my daughter.
