Silver- and gold-leaf are applied over the pyrography. And the colors on the silver are created through a bit of alchemy and some sunshine. The colors will appear to change with different lighting

Beautiful platter -e-. The texturing and color from the alchemy are very appealing. How was the texturing done? Looks almost fluted first and then textured. I like it.

Well my opinion may be just a tad bit biased since this is proudly sitting in my living room! E, I love it so much. It's more beautiful in person than the photo could ever convey. When I hold it to the natural light coming through the window it truly does change color. Thank you so much. I will treasure it. Jen :)
