Honey Locust Revere Style Bowl

I was going to make this a salad bowl, but there were too many bug holes. I decided to call them fruit bowls since it will require less stringent cleaning. This one is 1/8 inch down to the raised foot which is about 3/8 inches thick. It is a form similar to the silver bowls made by Paul Revere.
The dark coloring is iron stain. The tree fell down last winter, at a hotel restaurant... It had had lights nailed to it, higher up and the color ran down.

Diameter: 11 1/8 inches
Height: 4 1/2 inches
Finish: Oil sanded to 600
