Inverted Ginger Jar [Lg.]

This is Asian inspired and fairly large for a ginger jar. [ 7.75" wide x 9" tall ] I wanted to do some thing a bit different with a bag of sand type form, with a lid, so I also made the lid with an ogee shape, and added a beaded rim that tapers back to the form itself. The foot was added to accentuate the curve of the form and to add lift. Lid is Elm, and the form is Cherry.
