No-Ash Tray

This started out as simply a square-edged bowl; but the flaws, and the the ridges as I was hollowing it, made me think of a '50's ashtray with the protrusion in the center for tapping out pipes, putting out cigars. So I left in the ridges. Walnut, a 49 cent scrap piece, 6"x6".
