Owl

This was turned on three axes to get the overall shape, then the eyes/cheeks were carved, legs and base added. The body is cherry, the legs osage orange, and the base is walnut. The cheeks are bleached. Inspired by the sculptor Anthony Theakson. About 12 inches long, 5 inches deep, and 10 inches tall.
I love it Michael! The legs really accentuate the modern feel of the piece to my eye. Well done!
