Beech Bowl textured and carvedWill, I think you forgot to sand your bowl !!!
Very nice form - and the curvature of the raised band looks perfect. The vertical carving on the band is a nice complement/contrast to the horizontal grooves. -

Thanks Dean! It does really feel good. And I feel I should put a finish on it if it is going to handled. My...Boy, I'd like to feel that one up. The tactile quality just leaps out. I really like it. Hopefully, you won't get too many folks who point out that you forgot to sand it.
