Phoenix

Pheonix is made from Lacewood. it is about 25cm in diameter. I have carved and textured the surface to give it a metalic like appearance. I know I have posted quite a few photos in the last week. This is the last picture I will be uploading untill after Christmas so yu can all have a bit of piece and quiet rom me!!! I am going back to Scotland a place where the deer run free and the internet access is painfully slow. This piece is one of the first attempts at an art type piece. It is called pheonix because when I made it several things went terribly wrong and after a few weeks I went back to it and resurected it. I wanted to think about how from seeming chaos things can come together.

As ever I welcome comments and criticism.
