Plain Maple Bowl

Plain Maple Bowl

The other day I got the urge to just make a good ole, no frills, no embellishments bowl. This was from a friends wood pile (thanks, Rich). It was quite spalted, but not punky at all. 9" dia. X 2.25" tall. Finished with Tung oil and Beall buffed. Thanks for looking and all comments welcome, Don L.
Nice bowl, adheres to the simple can be beautiful concept. I would like to see the spalting from an inside view.

very nice

Thanks Jake, Charlie and Lou. Oddly enough, this is one of my favorite pieces.
Thanks again,
Don L.
