This wood from Peru has to be some of the hardest I have ever turned, and prone to checking, but I couldn't give up on the beauty! 10 1/2"Wx8"H
Jamie ,nice work mate ,for a hard piece of wood you did well to achieve the uniform wings .The finial looks like it is meant to be there.
