Serial 24019 Model CODH0608 Red oak Lidded Box

This is an experimental piece to see if it would work 6" Dia. X 8" tall X 1/4" walls and so far there are no checks & not enough distortion to be a problem so it seams to be a success. The body is Red oak turned green and thin with the pith in the middle. The lid is segmented black ash with a black ash and and walnut Celtic cross for a handle. The box is finished with DO.
