Sycamore Live Edge

6" X 6" X 3/16" I've been a furniture designer and builder for over four decades. I'm now retired and having fun learning to turn bowls. This is one of my first.
That is exactly correct. I turned the bowl while still fairly green. I expected it to warp a little, but it did not, so I got very lucky with this one. I'm learning that if you are going to turn "one time", it is best to turn the bowl with very even thickness throughout.
