Tops with bases

All of these tops have a matching base – on some the top fits like a box lid (if the diameter of the blank allows for this), and others have the stem fitting into a hole. All the bases have a slight concave surface turned on the underside to spin the top if desired. All are decorated with a chatter tool and knurling tool then colored with a variety of pens and paints.
OK, that's a terrifc group of tops and you have nothing to apologize for, as in your message with the other photo. However, matching bases with the tops is WAY over the top! ;)

Tom, OMG, these are really great. I would call them a Rack of Tops ! Thanks for sharing.

@Jon Sauer re: "Rack of Tops" .... it's been so many decades since I've played pool that a "rack" never occurred to me! I knew there were too many for bowling pins. :)

@Gerald Lawrence
Thanks, Gerald. No, the concave spinning area is on the bottom. The interior "box" area is also decorated. (trying to insert images here !?!?)

NO LUCK! If anyone knows how to do it please let us know how.
