Touchstone Bowl

This is an off-center bowl made of spalted maple and has several different textures. It is made to be touched.
The large rim has a deep texture while the bowl is glass smooth. The bottom has been scorched to a complete black, which has also created a unique texture.
The piece weighs about 3-lbs., giving it a feel of its own.
