Turning Air

This is my 4th hollow form. I thought I was just going to practice on some "Scrap" Maple. The piece took on a life of it's own and taught me several things about watching shadows and light cuts. It's 7 inches tall and I finished it with 3 coats of Bush oil.

I'd appreciate all feedback to help me continue to develop the passion.

Thanks,
James
James, I turn a lot of maple with voids , but I must say that this piece is the extreme. Just keeping it together while turning is very difficult. Very well done.
